Awareness Programme on conserving depleting fish species of River Ganga
Awareness Programme on Conserving Depleting fish species of River Ganga was organised by ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Regional Centre, Allahabad on 1st August 2017 under National Mission for Clean Ganga project to restore and conserve the depleting fish species.



A week long ICAR sponsored training program on “Microbiological Examination of Seafood” was inaugurated on 1st August, 2017 by the Chief Guest Prof A. Ramachandran, Vice Chancellor, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) at ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Kochi.
A 21-days CAFT (Centre for Advanced Faculty Training) training programme on “Design and Manufacturing of Agro-Processing Machines” was inaugurated at ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal on 1 August, 2017.
A one-day training and awareness programme on riverbed cultivation of cucurbitaceous vegetables was organized by ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi for improving the cultivation practices and increasing the yield of cucurbits grown on riverbeds.

Training on crop diversification and quality fruit production was organized by ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar under NMSHE-TF-6 project in collaboration with Regional Research Station, ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Leh for the framers of Nimoo and Ranbir Thiksey villages of Leh on 14th and 15th July 2017 respectively.
