Annual Day of ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation

ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun celebrated its Annual day here today.

Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra , Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR),. in his address as Chief Guest, urged the scientists and staff of the Institute to work for the country in a target oriented objective way and should not give open ended solutions

Earlier,  Dr Mohapatra visited the to Research Farm of the Institute at Selaqui and  inaugurated a Training Hostel at its headquarters.

He also attended Group Meeting of Members of the Uttarakhand State Coordination Committee for Doubling of Farmers Income as Chairman. . In his address, he highlighted the various aspects that need to be addressed in the Action Plan for achieving the objective of doubling farmers’ income.
