25th Dr. B.P. Pal Memorial Lecture

Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra , Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) delivered 25th “Dr. B.P. Pal Memorial Lecture” on ““Our Agricultural Future" here today.Dr. Mohapatra highlighted the visionary research and policies initiated by the legendary scientist Dr. B.P. Pal in whose memory the lecture series was initiated. He presented a comprehensive analysis of post-green revolution achievements along with outline of futuristic technologies, which may result in increased productivity, farmers income and meeting the future challenges of climate change in all areas of agriculture including cereals, pulses, oilseeds, animal husbandry and fisheries with efficient use of inputs.

 The event was chaired by Dr. A.K. Srivastava, Chairman, ASRB, New Delhi.
