Special Secretary (DARE) & Secretary (ICAR) visits ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai

Shri Chhabilendra Roul, Special Secretary (DARE) & Secretary (ICAR), visited ICAR-Central Institute of Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbaitoday and interacted with the scientists and administrative staff of the institute. During his interaction, he elucidated on the various policy initiatives of the Council to bring in more transparency and efficiency in the system. He emphasized that as the institute is marching towards the centenary year, thematic celebration should be planned and a brainstorming needs to be carried out within the institute with relevant stakeholders. He visited the different laboratories, Nanocellulose Pilot Plant, X-Ray labs, newly created workplaces and the gymnasium facility

Dr. P. G. Patil, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT briefed about the research achievements, skill development programmes, revenue generation trend and implementation of different government initiatives at the institute.
