A four member delegation led by the Deputy Governor of Jigawa State of Nigeria H.E. Ibrahim H. Hadejia met Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) on 30th October 2018 at New Delhi to discuss future collaborative framework in the agriculture sector between both the sides. The delegation also wishes to engagement for establishment of Pan African-PAU University in Jigawa State of Nigeria.
The other member of the Nigerian delegation were Dr. Yemi O. Akinbamijo, Head of Mission & Executive Director, FARA, Dr. Ibrahim B. Ibrahim, Capacity Development Officer, FARA and Zilkiflu Abdu, Rector, Binyaminu Usman Polytechinc, Jigawa State, Nigeria.
Shri Chhabilendra Roul, Special Secretary (DARE) & Secretary (ICAR); Dr. J.K. Jena, DDG (Fy. Sci. & AS), ICAR; Dr. A. K. Singh, DDG, (CS & HS); Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore, DDG (Agril. Education), ICAR,; Dr. A. Arunachalam, ADG (IR) (Acting charge); Shri Rajan Agarwal, Director (IC), DARE; Dr. R.K. jain, Joint Director (Edn.), ICAR – IARI were also present on the occasion.
