ICAR celebrates Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

National Unity day (also known as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) is celebrated every year on 31st of October as an annual commemoration of the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The occasion provides an opportunity to reaffirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity, and security of our country.

Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) administered Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge at Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi.

Shri Chhabilendra Roul, Special Secretary (DARE) & Secretary (ICAR), Shri Bimbadhar Pradhan ,Additional Secretary  & Financial Advisor (DARE/ICAR), Dr. Joykrushna Jena, Deputy Director General (Fisheries Science), Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore, Deputy Director General (Agricultural Education) were also present on the occasion.

Dr. A.K.Singh, Deputy Director General (Agricultural Extension) administrated the pledge at Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan, Pusa, New Delhi.

Officers and staff of ICAR Headquarters participated in the event.
