ICAR-CIRCOT bags First Rank in Avishkar Research Convention of University of Mumbai

The ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai bagged the First Prize 13^th Inter-Collegiate / Institute / Department Avishkar Research Convention organized by Department of Students’ Development, University of Mumbai for the academic Year - 2018-19. The Convention was held at the University of Mumbai, Fort, Mumbai today.

The ICAR-CIRCOT was awarded the “Overall Championship (First Rank) in Pure Sciences Category” for its presentation titled “Microbial production and characterization of Nano-lignin and its application on cotton and linen fabrics for functional properties”.

Dr. P.G. Patil, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT received the award on the behalf of the Institute from Prof. Suhas Pednekar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mumbai.

Prof. S.S. Bhagwat, Dean (IQAC), Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai was also present during the occasion.
