ICAR-CIBA wins “Best Stall Award” in Swasraya Bharat-Kerala Science Fest - 2019

The ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, Chennai bagged the “Best Stall Award” during the Brackishwater aquaculture theme exhibition - Swasraya Bharat-Kerala Science Fest - 2019 jointly organized by the ICAR-CIBA and the Swadeshi Science Movement, Kerala at Marine Drive, Ernakulam from 23^rd to 26^th November, 2019.

Shri V. Muraleedharan, Union Minister of State for External Affairs inaugurated the expo.

Shri Arif Mohammad Khan, Governor of Kerala conferred the Institute with the “Best Stall Award” for showcasing the scientific achievements and technologies developed and transferred by it for the development of brackishwater aquaculture in the country during the valedictory function held on 26^th November, 2019.

The country’s advancements in science and technology front were displayed during the exhibition.

The stalls with aquaria of live candidate finfishes and shellfishes were among the main attractions for the visitors.

The participants from Central Research Institutes including CMLRE, INCOIS, ISRO, DRDO, CIFT, CMFRI, CPCRI, NIFPHATT, Cochin Shipyard, etc., participated in the event.
