The ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai celebrated 96th Foundation Day and Krishi Shiksha Diwas today.
The Chief Guest, Dr. M.M. Pandey, Former Deputy Director General (Agricultural Engineering), ICAR & Former CEO, Agrinnovate India Limited (AgIn), Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE) applauded the Institute’s efforts on achieving the different milestones in the post-harvest technology of cotton, value-addition to cotton by-produce, skill development and entrepreneurship development.
The Guest of Honor, Shri Suresh Kotak, Chairman, Kotak & Co. regarded the Institute’s contributions in the development of technologies, service to trade and industry as indispensable.
Earlier, Dr. P.G. Patil, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT briefed about the Institute’s activities, achievements and way forward.
The senior officials of ICAR-CIRCOT and other ICAR Institutes were also present during the occasion.
