Sankalp - 2020: Virtual Annual Business Festival concludes at ICAR-NAARM

5^th October, 2020, Hyderabad

The two-day National Level Business-Fest “Sankalp - 2020” virtually organized Post Graduate Diploma-Agribusiness Management (PGD-ABM) students of ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad from 4^th to 5^th October, 2020 concluded today.

In his valedictory address, the Chief Guest, Shri Satyanarayana Vaddi, Senior Advisor, SAVe Foundation suggested the students to align their career and take the benefits of work being carried out by the SAVe Foundation.

Earlier, in his inaugural address, the Chief Guest, Shri Subhra Majumdar, General Manager, Rallis India Ltd. regarded the innovation as important in the agricultural sector during the challenging times of the widespread of COVID-19 Pandemic. He stressed on the expectations the various stakeholders have from the agriculture and allied students.

The Guest of Honor during the inaugural function, Smt. Poorna Pushkala, Head, HR, Samunnati Financial Services and Intermediation Pvt. Ltd. outlined the beginning of the journey of Sankalp and Samunnati at almost the same time. She also underlined about how the event “IDEAS 360” has helped them to give more ideas for Samunnati Academy.

Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad highlighted about the helpfulness of the agri-business management in improving the agricultural sector of the country and the farmers’ livelihoods.

The Business-Fest comprised of 4 competitions namely, Adhishtatha (Best Manager Competition), Samadhaan (Case Study Competition), Advitiya, (Business Plan Competition), Flashgun (Photography Competition), Darpan (Business Quiz Competition) and Ideas-360 (Content Creation Competition).

A total of 5,004 participants from 40 Institutes including the various IIMs and leading Management Colleges of the country participated in the event.
