Awareness Programme on Pradhan Mantri Fasal Beema Yojna at Bhadohi

KVK, Bhadohi and  ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Kanpur organized an awareness programme on “Pradhan Mantri Fasal Beema Yojna” here today.

Shri Virendra Singh, Member of Parliament, Bhadohi, while inaugurating the event briefed about PMFBY and urged the line department officials and banking personnel to execute PMFBY.

Dr. Bijendra Singh, Director, ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi, talked about various central Govt. programmes related to welfare of farming community.

Dr. U. S. Gautam, Director ICAR-ATARI, Kanpur narrated the key features of schemes on agriculture and briefed about major activities of KVKs.

More than 400 farmers participated in the event.
