The Indian Council of Agricultural Research has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AgroStar to scale scientific farming practices, AI-led advisory and farmer capacity building across India to address issues of Indian agriculture. required for addressing issues in agriculture.
This MoU signing programme was Chaired by Dr M. L. Jat, Secretary DARE & Director General, ICAR, and was signed by Dr Rajbir Singh, Deputy Director General (Agril Extension) from ICAR; coordinated by the team Dr. Ranjay K. Singh, ADG (Agril Extension) and Dr R. R. Burman, ADG (Agril Extension), ICAR.

Dr Devraj Arya, Vice President (R&D) and Regulatory Affairs, AgroStar and his colleagues also graced the MoU signing ceremony.
The collaboration established through this MoU will strengthen frontline extension network of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (through the digital network) to improve farm productivity, soil health, reducing crop risks and “Helping Farmers Win”. In addition, both will work to improve scientific diagnostics, capacity building and farmer advisory programmes to reach last-mile.

By bringing together ICAR's research and knowledge and AgroStar's digital reach and farmer engagement ecosystem, this MoU may compliment the ongoing ICAR efforts in delivering scalable and sustainable solutions to enable farmers’ profitability and achieving missions of country.
