IVRI Bags National Award on National Technology Day-2013

The Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Izatnagar, Uttar Pradesh had been bestowed with the prestigious National Award for its outstanding contribution in the field of commercialization as a Technology Provider on National Technology Day-2013 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. The award was presented by the Hon'ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee to the Dr. Gaya Prasad, Director, IVRI.

The award consists of a cash prize of Rs. 10 Lakhs and a trophy. The award was given for commercialization of IVRI technology to industry.

The award was presented in the gracious presence of Shri S. Jaipal Reddy, Union Minister of Science &Technology and Earth Sciences; Dr. T. Ramasami, Secretary, Department of Science &Technology; Dr. Samir K. Bramhachari, Director General, Council of Scientific Industrial Research; “Padmashri” Dr. A.K. Gupta, Professor, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad; Dr. George Jhon, Sr. Advisor, Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi.
