ICAR-IISWC, Dehradun organizes plantation drive on the occasion of 98th ICAR Foundation Day and Harela

ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun organized a plantation drive for the celebration of 98th Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) foundation day and Uttarakhand local festival ‘Harela’ today.

On this occasion, 75 fruit plant saplings of kagazi lime, guava, mango, moringa, and Aaonla were planted.  This programme was organized under the active guidance of Dr Charan Singh, Acting Director, ICAR-IISWC.
The event witnessed participation from over 80 officials and 40 trainee students.
