On the occasion of ICAR Foundation Day, the ICAR-Directorate of Floricultural Research, Pune organized a tree plantation programme today under the guidance of the Director, ICAR-Directorate of Floricultural Research, Pune.
During the programme, saplings were planted within the institute campus to promote environmental conservation and reinforce the commitment towards a greener and healthier future. The participants conveyed the message that tree plantation is an effective step towards environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and mitigating the adverse effects of climate change. They also reaffirmed their commitment to protecting the environment and promoting sustainable practices.
The programme concluded with a pledge by all participants to conserve nature and actively contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable environment.
The programme was attended by all scientists, technical, administrative, and supporting staff of the Institute.
