ICAR-CRIDA New Annexe Building inaugurated

Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) inaugurated the New Annexe Building in ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Santoshnagar, Hyderabad today.

Dr. S.K. Chaudhari, Deputy Director General (Natural Resource Management), ICAR, Dr. S.N. Puri, Former Vice-Chancellor, Central Agriculture University, Imphal, Dr. G. Ravindra Chary, Director, ICAR-CRIDA along with other senior officials of ICAR Institutes, IMC Members of CRIDAS and officials from different local organizations were also present during the occasion.

The Annexe building has been constructed by adopting the green building concept with about 13 persons capacity lift, fire fighting and alarming systems. The building with plinth area of about 2300 sq. mt. will house the Director’s Office, PME Cell, Administrative, Scientific and Technical activities. The 600 sq. meter area of Seminar Hall with 150 seating capacity provided with latest audio-visual amenities along with space for Cafeteria and multipurpose rooms including Secretariat are one of the unique features of the building.
