Skill Development Training on “Mushroom Grower – Small Entrepreneur

KVK, Ri-Bhoi trained twenty youths and farmers from Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya on skill development qualification pack “Mushroom Grower – Small Entrepreneur”.

The month long training progarmme (22 February- 22nd March 2017) was organized under Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI).

Techniques of site selection, methods of construction of mushroom house, preparation of substrate to harvesting of mushroom, plant protection, post-harvest management, marketing, record keeping and SHG mobilization were thoroughly discussed in the traning programme.
