भाकृअनुप – केन्‍द्रीय मत्‍स्‍य शिक्षा संस्‍थान (CIFE), मुम्‍बई में दिनांक 19 – 21 जनवरी, 2015 को मत्‍स्‍य जीनोमिक्‍स पर एक अंतर्राष्‍ट्रीय कार्यशाला आयोजित की गई।

भाकृअनुप – राष्‍ट्रीय समेकित नाशीजीव प्रबंध केन्‍द्र (NCIPM), नई दिल्‍ली में ‘आईपीएम में ताजा प्रगति’ विषय पर शीतकालीन प्रशिक्षण आयोजित किया गया जिसका उद्घाटन दिनांक 26 फरवरी, 2015 को कृषि वैज्ञानिक चयन मंडल, नई दिल्‍ली के अध्‍यक्ष डॉ. गुरबचन सिंह ने किया।

डॉ. सी. चट्टोपाध्‍याय, निदेशक, भाकृअनुप – राष्‍ट्रीय समेकित नाशीजीव प्रबंध केन्‍द्र, नई दिल्‍ली ने कार्यक्रम की अध्‍यक्षता की जबकि डॉ. पी.के. चक्रबर्ती, सहायक महानिदेशक (पीपी) कार्यक्रम के विशिष्‍ट अतिथि थे।

To popularize the importance of soil test based fertilizer application for improved crop productivity among tribal farmers, a field day cum capacity building programme under the theme of “Soil test and target yield approach for increased crop productivity” was organized on January 2, 2017 under Tribal Sub-Plan of ICAR-AICRP on Soil Test Crop Response.

National seminar of “Aquaculture Diversification: The Way Forward for Blue Revolution” was organizedat ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture (CIFA), Bhubaneswar during 1-3 December, 2016.

ICAR-Directorate of Cold Water Fisheries Research, Bhimtal, Nainital, Bhimtal organized 8-day model training course, “Hill fish farming for the upliftment of rural economy in NE region” at Aizawl, Mizoram during 2-9 December, 2016

ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar organized a one-day Interface Meet with the Veterinary Officers of Arunachal Pradesh in collaboration with the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary and State Veterinary Council, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh here today.

Dr. N. D. Minto, AH & Vet, Arunachal Pradesh in his inaugural address briefed about the status of livestock resources and veterinary facilities available in Arunachal Pradesh.

ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun, Medziphema, Nagaland and KVK-East Khasi Hill District, Meghalaya jointly organised a two-day ‘Awareness Programme-cum-Farmers Scientist Interaction on Scientific Mithun Rearing” (21-22nd November 2016) at Mawphlang Village, Upper Shillong, East Khasi Hill District .The aim of the programme was to explore the possibilities of introducing Mithun (Bos frontalis) in Meghalaya.

ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland Centre in collaboration with KVK Dimapur  organized a four-day training  on “Scientific Pig and Poultry Production: Avenues for entrepreneurship development in North Eastern Hill Region” (15- 18th November 2016) for tribal farmers of Karbi Anglong of Assam and Wokha, Kohima and Dimapur district of Nagaland
