ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation, Dehradun organized a 5-day training course for senior level Agriculture Officers on Integrated Watershed Management during July 26-30, 2016. The training was sponsored by Institute on Management of Agricultural Extension (IMAGE), Siripur, Bhubaneswar and funded by Directorate of Agriculture & Food Production, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. 

ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Jodhpur organised a two-days training programme for Nodal Officers of Krishi Vigyan Kendras under National Mission on Oilseeds & Oil Palm (NMOOP) during 29-30th July 2016.

ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubneshwar and ICAR-Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute, New Delhi jointly conducted a training program on “Analysis of Biological data Using Computational tools” under CABin network project during 5-14 July, 2016 at Kauslyaganga.

ICAR-NRC on Orchids, Sikkim organised off Campus Demonstration and training on Orchid Cultivation at Marlelongso Village, Diphu, Karbi Anglong (District), Assam under Tribal Sub-Plan Scheme (TSP) for Jirjar Self Help Group on 19^th July, 2016.

ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland Centre in collaboration with KVK Dimapur organized a three-day (20 – 22 July 2016) training programme on “Promotion of Pig Breeding through Artificial Insemination and Scientific Management Techniques in Nagaland” at ICAR Nagaland Centre, Jharnapani for rural educated unemployed youths.

A one-day campus Training programme on Oyster Mushroom Cultivation was jointly organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra East Siang and College of Horticulture & Forestry, Central Agricultural University, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh.

ICAR-Directorate of Cold Water Fisheries Research, Bhimtal, organized six-day “Hands on Training on Breeding and Hatchery Management of Mahseer” during 1-6^th July 2016.  

Dr. A. K. Singh, Director, ICAR-DCFR emphasized the need of concerted effort to be made by the Himalayan state fishery departments, KVKs, NGOs and SAUs for captive rearing and brood raising of mahseer for its propagation and rehabilitation. He encouraged the participants to make sincere efforts for propagation of mahseer in their respective states.

A ten-day training programme on Big Data Analytics in Agriculture was organized at ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad during 13-22 June 2016. The programme was sponsored by Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India

Three-day (14 – 16 June, 2016) training of trainers on ‘Integrated Watershed Management Projects (IWMP)’ was organized at ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun in collaboration with MANAGE, Hyderabad. 

An Interactive Co-Learning Workshop-cum-Training Programme on “Philosophy, Methods and Ethics in Science” was organized during 26-28 May 2016 by ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubaneswar with the technical collaboration of ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Institute, Kochi for the benefit of the you
