A five-day short training course on ‘Integrated Watershed Management’ was organized at ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation, Dehradun from 06-10 June, 2016. The training course was sponsored by Directorate of Agriculture & Food Production, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Shri Radha Mohan Singh,  Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, inaugurated a five-day training programme on “Ornamental Fish Culture and Management for Livelihood Improvement of Rural Women” (27th June 2016 – 1st July 2016) at ICAR Research Complex for Eastern Region, Patna today.

Four-day “Trainer’s Training on Scientific Backyard Poultry Farming for Anganwadi Workers of Nagaland” (22nd June – 25th June 2016) was organized by ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland Centre and KVK Dimapur in collaboration with Department of Social Welfare, Nagaland at ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland Centre.

A brainstorming meet on application of metagenomics and microbiomes to augment fish production and productivity was held on 21 June, 2016 at ICAR-CIFA, Bhubaneswar.

Allahabad Regional Centre of ICAR- Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute organised a Capacity Building Workshop cum Awareness Programme for fishers on “Ganga Nadi kee Matsyikee ke Sanrakshyan evam Samvardhan ke Upay” at Gopalpur in Vindhyanchal, Mizapur district, Uttar Pradesh  on 31.03.2015.
