14th November 2923, Ludhiana

The ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, kicked off a two-week training program on Food Processing, Packaging, and Value Addition of Agricultural and Livestock produce today. 

8th – 11th November 2023, Ladakh

ICAR-National Research Centre on Yak, Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh conducted three awareness-cum -supportive programmes on scientific yak husbandry in collaboration with the Department of Animal Husbandry, UT of Ladakh during 8th to 11th November, 2023 at Hanlay and Khaltse in Leh district and Bodhkharboo in Kargil district of the Union Territory.

15th -17th November, 2023, Nagpur

The ICAR-national Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning, Nagpur organized 3-day Training Programme on “Pension & Retirement Benefits” from 15th to 17th November 2023. The main objective of the training programme was to enrich the knowledge, enhancing competency and efficiency among the Administrative and Finance staff personnel working in the ICAR Institutes.

3rd – 9th November 2023, Nawada

ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore organized a 7-day capacity building program on “Inland Fisheries management” for the fish farmers of Nawada District, Bihar during 03-09 November 2023.

7th November 2023, Ri-Bhoi

A daylong training programme on “ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bengaluru, Interventions for Unleashing Horticulture Potential in NEH Region” was organised by KVK, Ri-Bhoi, in collaboration with ICAR-IIHR, today at the premises of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ri-Bhoi.

30th October - 8th November 2023, Lucknow

ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow, organised a Hands-on Training Course on ‘Cell Culture: Techniques and Applications’ from October 30 – November 08, 2023.

3rd November 2023, Mumbai

ICAR-Central Institute of Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai, organised a five-day training programme on “Advances in Applications of Nanotechnology” from 30th October- 3rd November 2023 and concluded on 3rd November 2023 in Mumbai.

7th November 2023, Kolkata

A two-day Farmers’ training-cum-capacity building programme on 2nd-3rd November 2023 at Amainagar village of Jhargram District, West Bengal under Pilot Project on Crop Diversification has been organised by ICAR- National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning, Regional Centre, Kolkata as a Nodal centre of Eastern Region of India.

1st-3rd November 2023, Hyderabad

ICAR- National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad, organised a three-day training programme on ‘Vigilance Perspectives for ICAR Officers’, the second in a series from 1st-3rd November 2023 as a part of Vigilance Awareness Campaign and Vigilance Awareness Week. The primary objective of this training programme is to sensitize and develop the perspectives of vigilance among functionaries of ICAR institutions.

1st November 2023, Umiam

ICAR- Agricultural Technology Application & Research Institute (ATARI), Zone VII, Umiam, Meghalaya has taken the initiative in organising a capacity-building program on “Efficient Administrative and Financial Management” for the junior level officers of KVKs and ATARI at Umiam, Meghalaya from 1st-3rd November 2023. The inaugural function was on 1st November 2023.
