Capacity building programme on “Soil test and target yield approach for increased crop productivity”

A field day cum capacity building programme , “Soil test and target yield approach for increased crop productivity” under Transfer of Technology programme of ICAR-AICRP on Soil Test Crop Response was organized on 7th March, 2016 at Ngairangbam village of Haorang Sabal Block, Imphal West district, Manipur. The programme was organized to popularize the importance of soil test based fertilizer application for improved crop productivity among tribal farmers.

International Workshop on ‘Surveillance and Diagnosis of Glanders’

8 -17 th February, 2016,  Hisar

International Workshop on ‘Surveillance and Diagnosis of Glanders’ was organized at ICAR-National Research Centre on Equines, Hisar from 8-17 February 2016.

Aim of the workshop was to provide hands on training in the area of serological diagnosis of glanders like complement fixation test and indirect ELISA and to build network among glanders endemic countries for surveillance of glanders.

Training prgramme on Organic Crop Production to North Sikkim Tribal Farmers

19 - 21st April, 2016, North Sikkim

ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region, Sikkim Centre organized three-day training programme on organic crop production (19 - 21st April, 2016) at Ringhim, Mangan, North Sikkim to increase awareness and strengthen the progressive tribal farmers on organic crop production by dissemination of scientific knowledge along with input support system under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP).
