21st-30th August 2023, Pune

ICAR-Directorate of Floricultural Research, Pune, in association with Rural Self Employment Training Institute of Bank of Maharashtra, Pune, organized a 10-day beekeeping training from August 21st to 30th August 2023. The program aims to provide jobless adolescents between the ages of 18 and 45 with employment alternatives.

A one-day aquaculture training and demonstration program was held at ICAR- Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Goa in collaboration with the Directorate of Fisheries, Govt. of Goa. 

21st - 26th August 2023, Hyderabad

ICAR– National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) has organized an Executive Development Programme on Leadership Development for 25 newly recruited Research Managers comprising five Assistant Director Generals and 20 Directors of various ICAR institutes, representing all SMDs (Subject Matter Divisions) from 21-26 August 2023.

A workshop on reinventing the extension system for agricultural transformation was organized by Directorate of Extension Education, OUAT Bhubaneswar for KVKs of Odisha under the jurisdiction of ICAR- Agricultural Technology Application Research Institutes, Kolkata.

24 August 2023, Karnal

The ICAR-Indian Institute of Wheat and Barley Research Institute, Karnal organized one day Online “Training and Capacity  Development for Wheat and Barley Based FPOs”  on 24 August 2023 in collaboration with  NPMA (National Project Management Agency ) under Central sector scheme for formation and promotion of Farmers Producer Organization (FPOs).

25th August 2023, Rajahmundry

The ICAR-Directorate of Floricultural Research, Regional Station, Vemagiri, Kadiyam organized a hands-on training program on Marigolds as Poultry Feed Additive at ICAR- Central Tobacco Research Institute, Rajahmundry.

2nd August 2023, Goa

ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Goa organized a one-day training program on "Ornamental Fish Culture" for Laxmi Ravalnath Self-help Group (SHG) with 14 participants in Assonora, Goa today. 

“Multivariate Statistical Machine Learning Methods for Modelling Agricultural Data” from 24th July to 4th August 2023

ICAR- Indian Institute of Rice Research, Hyderabad has organised a two weeks High End Workshop on Multivariate Statistical Machine Learning Methods for Modelling Agricultural Data” from 24th July to 4th August 2023 (Under the KARYASHALA Scheme – a SERB Initiative).

14th August 202, Anantapuramu

ICAR- National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad organized three- day skill development training on “Integrated Farming System- climate smart dryland technologies” under SCSP in collaboration with Agricultural Research Station, ANGRAU, Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh for SC farmers from 11-13th August 2023. 

The closing ceremony of the 10-day course on beekeeping from August 5^th to August 14^th, 2023 course was conducted along with the 77^th Independence Day celebration at ICAR-Directorate of Floricultural Research (DFR), Pune.
