ICAR-NBFGR organised Hands-on Training Programme on ‘Molecular Techniques for Fish Disease Diagnosis’

ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow, organised a Hands-on Training and capacity development Programme on ‘Molecular Techniques for Fish Disease Diagnosis’ under the National Surveillance Programme on Aquatic Animal Diseases (NSPAAD) for the officials of Aqua One Centres of National Centre for Sustainable Aquaculture (NaCSA) and young professionals of NSPAAD collaborating centre in Haryana during August 08-17, 2023.

Capacity building of women dairy farmers on precision dairy farming under SCSP and TSP program

ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute-Eastern Regional Station, Kalyani, organized a 3-day training program on scientific/precision dairy farming for women, from 25th–27th July 2023 under SCSP and TSP program of the Institute. A total of 40 women farmers participated in this training program. 

Hands-on training on molecular techniques for fish disease diagnosis

A hands-on-training on ‘Molecular techniques for fish disease diagnosis’ from 25th July to 3rd August, 2023, was organised by the ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow for the staff of Aqua One Centres of National Centre for Sustainable Aquaculture (NaCSA). The training aimed to enhance the participants' skills and expertise in diagnosing and reporting diseases with the help of molecular techniques

Training-cum-Awareness Programme on PPV&FR Act, 2001

24th July 2023, Pune

A training-cum-awareness Programme on Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers Rights Act, 2001 was organized by ICAR-Directorate of Floricultural Research, Pune in collaboration with the Protection of Plants Varieties & Farmers Rights Authority, New Delhi at National Institute of Post-Harvest Technology (NIPHT) Talegaon Dabhade, Pune on 24th July 2023. The programme was aimed at creating awareness among the farmers about the importance of PPV&FR Act, 2001.

ICAR-CIPHET organized an Orientation program cum exposure visit for school students

The ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana organized an ‘Orientation program cum exposure visit for school students’ from Partap Public School, Ludhiana on today for promotion of millets. Various facilities of the institute like the agro-processing centre, millet processing center, workshop, and other facilities were visited and demonstrated.
