To popularize the importance of soil test based fertilizer application for improved crop productivity among tribal farmers, a capacity building programme under the theme of “Soil test and target yield approach for increased crop productivity” was organized on 22nd October, 2018 under the aegis of ICAR-AICRP on Soil Test Crop Response.

The National Academy of Agricultural Research management (ICAR-NAARM), Hyderabad organized a tailor-made training program on “Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and Communication Strategies” during 06 – 07 October 2018 at its premises for the IFS probationers of 2017 batch.

ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, Chennai has been conducting Frontline Demonstrations on Biofloc based Nursery rearing Technology for Pacific white shrimp Penaeus vannamei in different parts of the country with support from the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India.

A three-day orientation-cum-capacity development programme on skill development in agriculture was organized by ICAR-ATARI Kolkata in collaboration with Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI) and Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV) during September 18-20, 2018.
