As part of the 114th Foundation Course for Agricultural Research Service (FOCARS), ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad organized an interactive session today, with progressive farmers and agri-entrepreneurs from across the country. The session aimed to provide young scientists with real-world insights into innovative and sustainable agricultural practices.
The dignitaries included Shri Adrushya Kadsiddheshwar Swami from Siddhagiri Math and Siddhagiri Gurukul Foundation, Kolhapur, Maharashtra; Shri Kan Singh Nirwan, Rajasthan; Shri G. Satish Babu, Andhra Pradesh; Smt. Kosireddy Lavanya Ramana Reddy, Telangana; and Dr. Sambhaji D. Nalkar, Head, KVK Tuniki, Medak.
Dr. Gopal Lal, Director, ICAR-NAARM, expressed gratitude to the guest farmers and encouraged the probationers to support the evolving needs of organic and sustainable farming communities.

Shri Adrushya Kadsiddheshwar Swami shared his inspiring journey of establishing an organic farm and adopting innovative scientific techniques.
Shri Kan Singh Nirwan elaborated on his natural farming methods and the integration of traditional practices.
Shri G. Satish Babu spoke about his indigenous cattle-based farming system and its health benefits. Smt. Lavanya Ramana Reddy narrated her successful transition from chemical to organic farming, particularly highlighting her entrepreneurial success in organic chilli cultivation and branding.
Dr. Sambhaji D. Nalkar shared his extensive work with tribal communities and efforts to uplift their livelihoods through sustainable agricultural practices.
